As it becomes increasingly important to protect personal hygiene, the result of thinking about making products for all of us is the bio-acetate collection made using bio-acetate materials, including antibacterial ingredients.
Bioacetate inhibits microbial growth and injects antibacterial components into the acetate itself, so even if the surface is cleaned or washed clean, the antibacterial function remains the same. It's essential in the New Normal era, where germs and personal hygiene have become more sensitive and important.

YUN X OU: Gathering Moss
For F/W20 YUN partnered with sustainable cashmere company, OU, to create something special.
Inspired by the beauty and biology of the moss plant, YUN set out to create bio acetate frames that are as environmentally friendly as can be. When designing the Bio Collection, YUN felt that a collaboration with OU (Oyu), a sustainable cashmere company from Korea, would help spread the message that sustainability is the way forward.
OU produces natural, super soft, undyed cashmere that is not bleached or processed and for this fall, OU decided to create beautiful cashmere products with the colour moss green woven throughout. Both YUN and OU took inspiration from the vitality and wisdom of moss, representing its beauty through the moss green colour you can see in both OU and YUN’s F/W 20 collections.

A word from Dawn, founder of OU Official (Oyu): “The less you process, the more you can keep the natural softness of cashmere, minimizing the use of water, chemicals and energy in the process. Though bleaching and dying are key processes in cashmere making, I decided to omit it, keeping the condition and quality of the cashmere whilst saving water and reducing chemical components.”
Less detail, more sustainable:
Our labels are made from certified organic cotton yarn and we use tapeless courier boxes, as well as perishable biodegradable vinyl. Furthermore, we refrain from using and discarding brochures and tags where we can.
In order to preserve the sustainability pursued by OU, we believe that conscious consumers can be fully satisfied when small details are not missed
