Almost no other street represents Berlin Mitte as vividly as Torstra\u00dfe: People roaming the paths, small stores, restaurants and coffee shops lined up along the lengthy boulevard, the yellow tram gliding through on a warm summer night. For a weekend in June this long stretch will get even more busy: The annual Torstra\u00dfenfestival is here!<\/p>\n
What started as a small afternoon musical program has been growing into a decent music festival that takes over the Torstra\u00dfen-area for several days. Blending different Berliner music scenes with international highlights, the festival celebrates scenic diversity, neighborhood, and music.<\/p>\n
Already in its 8th edition, this year\u2019s TSF \u201cForever\u201d is presenting contemporary pop music, mostly from Berlin, that does not shun Utopia, embracing the now and the future, against yesterday and regression. It\u2019s not a hype but an open question to the unknown, directed towards the festival, the music, and the audience.<\/p>\n
Saturday June 9th marks the the main festival day with more than 35 concerts in 9 locations in Berlin-Mitte: A sneak preview of new DENA<\/em> Album, electronic rap from Catnapp<\/em> and performances from avant-garde musician Lucrecia Dalt<\/em> and DIY romantic Sean Nicholas Savage<\/em> \u2013 just to name a few \u2013\u00a0before all gather at the official after show party over two floors at art house ACUD<\/em>.<\/p>\n On Sunday the festival moves into the impressive Volksb\u00fchne building with an independent Label Market, DJ sets and talks before the acts by Lido Pemienta<\/em>, Berlin\u2019s best italo-pop duo Itaca<\/em> and charming pop star Alex Cameron<\/em> light up the stage for the grand finale: Super Sunday.<\/p>\n It\u2019s a weekend to make the heart of all music fans beat faster, and as our YUN Store is located in the neigborhood we surely will see you out in the streets to celebrate #TSF18.<\/p>\n
