\nKorean director and recent Academy award winner, Bong Joon-ho dreamt up the modern masterpiece that is the<\/em> house in South Korean social satire, \u2018Parasite\u2019.<\/p>\n

In the film, the breath-taking, uber modern home was designed by a fictional architect- the great Namgoong Hyeonja, and is everything that the Kim\u2019s home is not; bright, spacious, beautiful.<\/p>\n

Though it isn\u2019t a real home and was built by production designer Lee Ha Jun, equally impressive architecture can be seen dotted around the city of Seoul and beyond.<\/p>\n

AELE HOUSE<\/h4>\n

Aele house in South Korea sits on a mountain just outside of Seoul. Nestled deep in the forest, this house is antithetical to its surroundings- it’s totally concrete, grey and square but somehow looks like it belongs.<\/p>\n

DOGOK MAXIMUM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Created for a photographer, this Seoul home was created by South Korean architect, Moon Hoon. Narrow and tall, ‘Dogok Maximum’ towers over other homes in the Gangnam district.<\/p>\n

THE GEOJEDO PRAIRIE HOUSE<\/h4>\n

Built into a cliff side right by the sea, The Geojedo Prairie house is a representation of man made creations and nature merging. Where better to experience the beauty of the ocean than in a special piece of architecture like this?<\/p>\n

GLASS HOUSE<\/h4>\n

Glass, steel and concrete are the foundation to this brutalist piece of architecture designed by Tadao Ando. Not strictly a home but breathtaking nonetheless, Glass House is a gallery and a cafe- with plenty of room to spare.<\/p>\n

SLIT HOUSE<\/h4>\n

This beautiful, airy home in Guri is owned by a family, who were inspired to create a design motif dictated by the line of sunlight.<\/p>\n

H HOUSE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Designed by South Korean architect Sae Min Oh, H House is an award-winning residence in Seongbuk-Dong. The use of concrete and wood materials create a unique and tranquil design.<\/p>\n
