For Art Book Lovers.

Long ago, books about art were often not very artful, and did not do justice to the artworks they featured from a design perspective. Luckily, this has changed drastically, and nowadays publications about art are often artworks it selves. Be it magazines or coffee table books, art publications have long gotten past the hiding-point and are now valued and proudly displayed by both professionals and art and design lovers.

MISS READ: The Berlin Art Book Fair – has developed into one of the most important meeting points for authors, publishers, art magazines and institutions. Founded in 2009, MISS READ is now Europe’s major Art Book Festival, dedicated to community-building and creating a public meeting place for discourse around artists’ books, conceptual publications and publishing as practice. MISS READ 2018 will have a special focus on Japanese publishers. In conjunction, the sixth Conceptual Poetics Day will explore the imaginary border between visual art and literature.

May 4th – 6th, 2018 at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, John-Foster-Dulles-Allee 10,10557 Berlin.
